Lottery funding for Weald and Downland Museum
The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum in Singleton has been awarded the money for a new refectory, visitors’ centre and learning pavilion. The plans also involve relocating one of the museum’s medieval houses.
Museum director, Richard Pailthorpe said the project was about establishing a strong relationship with the South Downs National Park Authority, attracting new audiences, and developing community participation.
