Held at the Littlehampton Girlguiding Centre, in Duke Street, Littlehampton, the fair raised £1,806 towards the costs of the society’s traditional bonfire celebrations in October.
Organisers had hoped that a new town centre venue and a new starting time would attract even more people to a popular annual event and the money raised end up being more than £350 up on last year’s fair.

A variety of well-stocked stalls included home-made cakes, books, good-as-new and a bumper plant stall supplied with donated plants from local nurseries.
Richard Cooper, society secretary, said: “We would like to thank the members of the public who came along to support the fair and also all the local businesses and individuals who contributed raffle prizes and other goods for sale.
“We are particularly grateful to the local nurseries who so generously donated plants for sale. We are very pleased to have raised such a good amount this year.”
