MEND health project makes comeback

Families who want to be fitter, healthier and happier can take part in a new course in Bognor Regis.

The latest series of the highly successful MEND project is starting in the town this month.

MEND stands for Mind, Exercise, Nutrition, Do it! It offers overweight children aged seven to 13 years old and their families the chance to increase their physical activity and improve their nutrition awareness.

The free and fun course runs on Wednesdays and Fridays in Bognor Regis.

Cllr Robin Brown, Arun's cabinet member for housing and community care, said: "MEND has been very successful in helping many children and their families make changes that will improve their overall health.
