Councillor Norman Webster, MSDC’s cabinet member for community, said: “The council has committed to openly engaging our community in a full public consultation on the future of Clair Hall
“We have now outlined the stages that will lead us to undertaking this starting with 12 weeks of engagement during the summer months of 2021.”
MSDC said the comprehensive engagement programme and consultation was being carried out as agreed within the legal consent order from January of this year before any decision is taken on the future of Clair Hall.
The timetable leading to the community engagement will begin with the appointment of an independent consultant to support the work, currently planned to take place in spring 2021.
