Rowing can be fun too
On Sunday June 12 it will hold the now traditional fun day when everyone is invited to come along in teams of four and race 500 metres.
Those who want to take part will be shown how by rowers on dry land.

Hide AdParticipants will be guaranteed at least three races,with the best three teams going through to the final.
Spokesman Tony Page said: “It’s been running for over 10 years now and has always been great fun for all, as well as those who turn up to watch.
“Some teams wear fancy dress but basically it’s old T shirts, shorts, long socks and old trainers.
“There is a trophy for second and third and everyone gets a medal for competing.
“Anyone can win - last year a crew of 14-year-old girls beat Hastings firefighters in the final.”
