Horsham District Council’s Roger Clarke (Con, Cowfold, Shermanbury and West Grinstead) attended an open day for the U3A at the Holbrook Club where he was greeted by Robin Jeffcoate, chairman of the Horsham U3A on Tuesday November 15.

Each group meets monthly to visit an interesting town or village where local people will give them the ‘lowdown ‘ on its history.
Mr Clarke said: “I was surprised at the very broad range of topics on offer and the dedication of those who give up their time to run the various study groups.”
The open day concluded with a well- supported raffle.
