Bexhill United manager Marc Munday admitted Little Common deserved to win Saturday’s high scoring local derby.

Common edged out Bexhill 4-3 in an entertaining Macron Store Sussex County Football League Peter Bentley League Cup first round tie thanks to a late winner from Lewis Hole.

Munday said: “I would’ve said they were the better side and deserved the win overall, but we had a 10-minute spell at the start where we’ve gone in front and we probably had a 15-minute spell at the start of the second half where we were on top.
