Police seize gas canisters after one explodes and take them TO police HQ
Police had received a report of a canister being let off and raided the home of a 40-year-old Yapton man, where they found several explosive devices last Thursday.
They arrested the man and transported the gas canisters, believed to be inert, to Centenary House, for collection by the Bomb Disposal Unit.

Police said residents were not evacuated, but householders sitting outside the cordoned-off zone said they had been told to leave their homes.
